About the Founder
Founder and Executive Director
Apostle Brenda Henton Price
Brenda Henton-Price was born in Muskogee, OK on April 6, 1977 to the proud parents, Apostle Alfred and Brenda Henton. She was raised in a small town called Summit, OK. At a young age, she was known as “little Ms. Serious” ; It was at this time she began her ministry of healing through reconnection. In 1984 while she and her baby sister were having their time of daily devotion and worship with the Lord her anointing and ministry was identified.
This powerful and dynamic woman of God started her ministry as a very young child. While she was singing, she was overheard by her mother who was moved to tears due to the anointing that was upon her young daughter. During that period of her childhood, just five years old, over fifty people heard the prophetic sound and believed the message of reconnecting the heart of a people back to their God.
Instantaneously, it became very clear that Brenda was called into a uniquely different type of ministry, not just singing, but one that has the ability to usher in the Shekinah (the visible manifestation of God’s presence and glory). When it filled the room, healing, deliverance and various types of miracles would take place.
Brenda attended DuBois Community Grade School and enrolled in her first school choir course while in the seventh grade. She went on to attend McClellan High School in 1992, where she was a very active in their musical program. After the completion of her freshman year, Brenda decided that the school needed a gospel choir, so she founded The Perfection Unlimited Gospel Choir Chapter of McClellan High School. Perfection Unlimited traveled and sang in surrounding areas and churches in the city.
Brenda graduated from McClellan High School in May of 1995 and continued her formal education at the University of Southwestern Louisiana (USL). This school of music is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music with its primary emphasis on development of the skills, concepts and knowledge essential to the professional life of the musician. At (USL), Brenda Majored in Vocals with her minor being in Music Theory and while at (USL) she joined their gospel choir.
For many years Brenda also ministered alongside her father Apostle Alfred Henton underneath his gospel tent where upwards of 700 people would sometimes be in attendance. They would come from all over the country not only to hear the gospel in sermon but also in song. Brenda was not afraid to allow the glory of the Lord to shine through her under the big tent as she sang under the prophetic anointing.
Presently, after four years of this mighty woman of God’s personal and private time of prayer, praise and preparation, she became the recipient of the perpetual promise from God about the power of prophetic worship before the Lord. Brenda Henton-Price has now become the founder and the Executive Director of “Creating A Sound” based on a prophetic design, consisting of the prophetic spoken word and worship which was founded and established on December 1, 2009.
It is her desire to launch a worship campaign that fulfills the scripture that states "in the day I will restore again the tabernacle of David.” She endeavors to reside in the Throne Room while ushering others in behind the veil to the very presence of God.
